Basic Kits

This is our go-to standard, ENG rig. Great for documentary, event coverage, any “run and gun” type shoot, or your basic interview day. We package, by default, a Sound Devices mixer/recorder, boompole/shotgun mic, 2 wireless lavaliere kits with our basic kits, and in addition two two wireless IFB units for use on cameras or for directors/producers to monitor sound and two timecode lockboxes. This kit can be expanded limitlessly.

microphones

We’ve got a wide selection of microphones, with polar patterns tailored to your shoot’s needs and desires - from Schoep’s to Sanken to Sennheiser. Our shotgun microphone selection prominently features Schoep’s CMIT5Us, the classic blue shotgun mic, and Sennheiser 416’s, the picture of durability in microphones. For indoor dialogue and interview content, we make sure to bring alone hypercardiod condenser microphones, like the Schoep’s CMC6U. For lavaliere mic’s, we use the best in the business, Sanken Cos-11D’s. In our inventory, we also have special situation microphones like handheld stick mics and “plant” mics for hidden content.

Wireless

We use top-notch wireless equipment. Lectrosonics transmitters & Zaxcom self-recording transmitters ensure we have every situation covered. Along with our transmitters, we use Sanken Cos-11D lavaliere microphones, the best sounding in the biz. If you need 20 people mic’d, or just one person, if they’re close, or far away - we’ll pick them all up sounding great.

Timecode

Let’s jam! From Smart slates displaying visual timecode to lockboxes that’ll jam cameras, our co-op has what it takes to make sure everything lines up.

Ifbs/communication

We love it when you listen! We provide headsets for client and production to stay connected when in either a loud environment, far from the action, or at a video village. We use the best - Lectrosonics R1a’s - so you and your clients will hear everything crystal-clear. Whether or not you need just one, or thirty, we’ve got your ears covered.

Podcast Recording: On Location

We specialize in on-location podcast recording. You need the recording session to happen at your location, so we bring the professional setup and expertise to you. Your clients and guests will be impressed. We use the same mic’s used by professional studios and the same quality Sound Devices mixer/recorder we use in our film/TV jobs.

Cart Rig / Boom operator set-up

For your commercial, live broadcast, or narrative shoot - bring on the team. With a robust cart set-up, we’re able to record the best on set dialogue possible. Our set-up involves monitors for a full visual understanding of each scene, antennae for long distance wireless reception, and a mixing console for the best and realtime mix possible, often being sent to directors and producers.
